Hawkes Remotes is building powerful ROVs which are self-powered and controlled through proprietary armored fiber-optic cables which are delivered from within the vehicle via a patent-pending system.

The tether system eliminates cable drag, allowing HRI’s ROVs to be free swimming at any depth, at high speeds if needed, with range limited only by the length of the fiber optic tethers, which are available in reusable and disposable configurations at lengths as long as 20km.
